ITINERARY AT A GLANCE:
DAY 01: DELHI
Welcome to Incredible India! On arrival at Delhi International airport, you will be welcomed and assisted by our representative and transferred straightway to your hotel to check in. Remaining time is at leisure till morning.
After breakfast, we would start the morning with a drive past through impressive boulevards and buildings such as President’s Residence and others in Lutyen’s Delhi (New Delhi). Also, drive past through Satish Gujral’s designed Belgian Embassy building. Later you will be to taken for the sightseeing tour of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) which would include your visit to the lofty Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar (the astonishing victory tower built in the early 13th century).
At Chandni Chowk, we would further take you to ‘Khari Baoli Spice Market’ which is a true delight for eyes. It’s truly unbelievable to see that the spices which we normally see in small sachets & packets are here seen in big sacks & carts. A wholesale market with carts full of different spices and people busy negotiating the prices, it’s really a scene. Dinner and overnight at Hotel
DAY 02: JAIPUR/SHEKHAWATI
After a leisurely breakfast, leave for Shekhawati and arrive at the hotel by lunch time. In Shekhawati, frescoes were initially introduced by Shekhawat Rajputs in their forts and palaces. The towns in Shekhawati are known for their painted havelies. This region has been recognized as the “open art gallery of Rajasthan” having the largest concentration of frescos in the world. After lunch, visit Nawalgarh, Dundlod, Mehansar and Mandawa. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 03: SHEKHAWATI/TALCHAPPAR
After breakfast, drive to Talchappar on route visiting Fatehpur and other interesting places of the region. Early evening, arrive Talchappar and stay in the Desert Camp. Late in the evening enjoy folk dances, cocktails and special dinner in the desert. Overnight in Camp.
DAY 04: TALCHAPPAR/JAIPUR
Early in the morning, visit Talchappar wildlife sanctuary famous for Black Bucks. Here you will see them in hundreds grazing in the wild. Later return to Camp for a leisurely breakfast and than leave for Jaipur.
Finally, early in the evening, reach Jaipur and check in at your hotel. Today’s dinner will be at an Indian Home where you will enjoy the home made traditional food of this region and chat at length with the host about all issues connected to Indian society. Before going to bed we will have an hours drive in the city to see JAIPUR AT NIGHT. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 05: JAIPUR
In the morning enjoy a heritage walk of walled Pink city and later proceed for the excursion to Amber Fort set in a picturesque location. You will be provided an elephant ride to ascend the Fort. Later, in the afternoon enjoy the city tour of Jaipur that would include City Palace, Observatory and Hawa Mahal. Today, in the evening after dinner, your will enjoy a special evening with cocktails, where you will try to know India through its music. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06: JAIPUR/RANTHAMBORE
After breakfast, leave for Ranthambore and arrive there by lunch time. Later in the evening enjoy a Jeep Safari in the Wild life sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 07: RANTHAMBORE/BHARATPUR
Early in the morning, once again visit the sanctuary in a canter. Later after breakfast, leave for Bharatpur. Early in the evening visit the famous Ghana Bird Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08: BHARATPUR/AGRA
Early morning, once again visit the bird sanctuary by rickshaw and later return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast leave for Agra. En-route you may visit Fatehpur Sikri. After lunch proceed for sightseeing tour of Agra which includes the most beautiful monument of love – The Taj (remains closed on Fridays), Agra Fort and few other attractions. Evening you may enjoy a tonga ride through the legendary city. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 09: AGRA/DELHI
After breakfast, leave for Delhi on route visiting ‘Sikandara’- famous for the beautiful mausoleum of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Arrive Delhi by lunch time. In the afternoon visit New Delhi and Qutub Minar. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 09: DEPART DELHI
After breakfast, leave for your own destination or take an extension tour of your choice. We will transfer you to the airport or railway station as the case may be.
